Small Class Numbers
We employ many extra teachers to ensure that we have smaller numbers of pupils in each class. This strategy ensures that we can offer a high standard of education. Our Gr. 1 class numbers are particularly low as the first year of education is so important.
Educational Excursions and Annual Camps
Regular day trips and excursions are arranged throughout the year for all our classes. Each year a special camp is arranged to a venue in KZN (the Drakensberg area is normally preferred.) The Grade 2 & 3 classes attend a 3 day camp and the Grade 4 to 7 classes attend a 4 day camp. These camps are extremely popular and the pupils benefit enormously.
The School Day
School Hours are from 07:45 to 14:00 from Monday to Thursday and 7:45 to 13:30 on Fridays for all pupils. The Gr. 1 and 2’s attend a full day each day ensuring accelerated education in these early years.
Extra-curricular activities begin at 2:15 and end at 3:15 p.m. unless otherwise advised.
